We are THRILLED to share that Milton Women’s U23 Project is one of 2 Canadian teams to be selected for the inaugural women’s edition of the Maryland Cycling Classic UCI 1.1. 15 teams and 90 riders from 5 nations, including several UCI Pro teams, will be lining up on September 6th to take on this incredible race.

Congratulations Eve Buczkowski, who has been selected to represent Canada at the inaugural Tour de l’Abitibi Feminin later this month. This is a UCI Jr Nations Cup race which will attract an field of teams from around the World, and it’s presence on the UCI calendar is an historic moment for women’s cycling in Canada.

5 our our U23 riders and one U19 rider are in St. Georges QC this weekend for Canadian Road National Championships. The event will see our racers tackle the Individual Time Trial, Road Race and Criterium. Good luck team!

Congratulations Taylor Tompkins, who is one of 6 most promising North American female riders who have been selected to participate in the Silicon Valley Cycling Foundation European Racing Academy in July. The academy provides world-class support and coaching while riders tackle 10+ Western European races, gaining invaluable International race experience.

Battling heavy rain, high winds and biting cold weather, Dylan Baker and Taylor Tompkins went Silver and Bronze this weekend at the GP Charlevoix Stage race. This was a team effort through and through, with all riders having strong rides, and the team taking 4 of the top 10 spots!

Congratulations Taylor Tompkins with a 2nd in Young Riders Competition and 16th overall at Tour of the Gila UCI 2.2 stage race. A strong week for Larissa Pedersen saw her take 4th overall in the Young Riders Competition. This is a notoriously hard stage race, and the team worked hard to secure these results!

Track season comes to an end for our U19 riders with a very successful National Championships, right here in Milton. Our team spent a LOT of time on the podium this weekend, highlights being National Championship titles for Eve Buczkowski (Elimination), Lili Salonen-Berscht (Keirin), Eve, Lili and Nikka Kaufman (Team Pursuit). Lot’s of new National Champs jerseys! Eve’s silver medal ride in the Individual Pursuit was especially exciting, setting a rather temporary World Record time in the event, which fell later that afternoon. Eve’s efforts have secured her a selection to U19 Track Worlds in Holland this summer!

Great start to our road season with a spicy Valley of the Sun stage race in Phoenix! Taylor Tompkins emerged from the sand storm on Time Trial day with a 9th place ride, and finished 10th overall (3rd Young Rider).
